New York State Bar Association Task Force on Artificial Intelligence publishes report on AI and the law

Jonathan Armstrong was a member of the New York State Bar Association Task Force looking at the impact of Artificial Intelligence on society and the legal profession. Their groundbreaking report was published on Monday.

The report contains a number of recommendations, including:

  • Advising lawyers to disclose to their clients when AI tools are used on a case.

  • Increased education for attorneys and judges on the use of AI.

  • The creation of a standing committee to address evolving challenges and developments.
