Training

L-EV8 offers a range of training to equip our clients with the skills they need to succeed in their careers.

Our Foundation Course is designed to provide prospective non-executive directors with the essential knowledge and skills to serve on boards spanning various sectors. Through a comprehensive curriculum, devised from the ground-up by our team, participants are brought up to speed on the most important aspects of serving as a non-executive director. These include: the evolving role of non-executive directors; environmental, social and governance training; branding and intellectual property concerns; proper financial acumen for NEDs; data and cybersecurity management; public relations and crisis management; and networking, reflection and action planning. Additionally, the course includes interactive skillshops and networking opportunities designed to boost the practical skills of our attendees. Upon completion of the Foundation Course, participants receive our qualification, making them standout candidates for future board roles.

We also go beyond standard training courses by offering bespoke programs tailored to specific industries or needs. For instance, if a company requires comprehensive cybersecurity training for its board members, we can design a tailored session focusing solely on that topic. We also offer sessions for organisations in health and legal services that cover their specific requirements, utilising our experience from working in those industries.

Our guest speakers provide valuable insights from their respective specialisms to enrich our training sessions. Their expertise covers areas from sport and charities, to disability and assistive technology, and beyond.
